Nak kata makan banyak, rasanya normal pace je (tak nak ngaku lagi tu hohoho). Last resort, pakai baju kurung yang buat kat Bandung haritu. Ces sungguh. Makcik dah gemuk! Ketulan lemak jelas kelihatan. Maknanya saya kena makan dengan kadar yang sedikit. Huhuhu T___T

Siap ajak Kinah pegi jogging lagi. *berazam*

Rumah

Sekarang saya tinggal di apartment. Owh, scratch that. Apparently I live with my parents although I have a house of my own. But I always go back home when my husband's around (macam tak percaya je dah kawin hahaha bengong).

Terus terang saya cakap, saya ni kurang gemar duduk rumah apartment. Why? Masalah share tempat parking etc. Bongok benor namanya. Nasib baik tak jadi macam kat rumah Yaya Presint 17 tu. Sampah pun elok je letak kat tepi parking. Now that we've mention about sampah kat parking, saya pernah ke Pavilion (cuci mata je, nak shopping takde duit T___T). Keluar je dari kereta, elok je parking space kat sebelah tu ada used diaper on the ground. Macamla tak reti nak buang kat dalam tong sampah. Hampeh sangat ok.

Berbalik cerita pasal rumah. Saya baru je semak permohonan pertukaran kuarters. Giliran untuk mendapatkan rumah teres ialah No. 307 T___T (tahun lepas nombor 400++). Menurut seorang rakan saya (nama dirahsiakan haha), a friend of her friend (complicated haha) bagitau yang kita kena report kat BP*H ada rumah kosong area mana. Baru la cepat dapat rumah. I was like "Owh ye???" *excited terlebeh sudaaa*. Miahahahahah *keji*. Owh, ni koya jugak. Belum dapat lagi dah berangan macam-macam.

Kalau ditukarkan punnn ok saje. Why? Sebab rumah area Putrajaya je kot. Bukannya rumah sampai kena lalu tol :P

Longer Weekend With Dearest Husband

Owhhhh... I am really busy these days. Juggling between work and life, it's tiring. Some work demands more than you can afford (talking about too much things on your SMALL plate). I often have this last-minutes' workloads given to me. Which is kind of not fair.  I even work on weekends! I mean although I work from home, but we still have other things to do, right? *everybody please say "RIGHT~!!!"*

Before I forget, I'd like to congratulate my friends from batch 1/2007 for their new position. Owh, some of them even got transferred to a totally different Ministry. Sekarang pun jarang jumpa, esok-esok lagi la jarang. (So Akmal, macam mana kita ni? Bila nak dapat fotifo? :P)

Weekend this time was spent with cooking, admiring our one-week-old fridge (he keeps on loading things into the fridge: fish, chicken, vegetables, you name them) and watching tv. Finallllllyyyyy! Before this we got problem with Assssssteruk and never bothered about it until recently. Since our  apartment has this centralised sattelite receiver, then we just have to plug in the cable. It happens that we had to cut the cable shorter because tangled cable makes the reception worse (still wondering, but whatever haha).

We went to Tutti Frutti in Seri Bangi, the new shop lots area. Marilah makan! Sedap, berkhasiat and good for your tummy. What is it? It's frozen yogurt or fro-yo. Variety of flavours including passion fruit, kiwi, red velvet, banana, pineapple and another one can't remember. Then choose your topping. After that, get it weighed and the price is depending on the weight. I got mine around RM20++. Well, I loaded them with a lot of things for sure :D

*Droooooolssss*
Finished already. So good till the last drop :D

Muka orang terpaksa bayar semua RM37.20
Tu la, sape suruh ambik banyak-banyak kaaaannn? :P
"Yeaaayyyy!!! Berjaya paksa Abang Rezal belanja"
MUAHAHAHHAAA~!!!
Before going to Tutti Frutti to get the fro-yo victimised, actually we went to Old Town White Coffee in Bandar Baru Bangi. You guys know where it is. It's near the sports shop and the private medical centre. I was sooooo hungry that I nearly become snappish at everyone. Sheesh! Talking about one dangerously hungry woman here.

I WANT MY FOOD NOW!!!
Rezal is not satisfied with his coffee.
He said it's bitter. Well, it's coffee right?
(that shows he's not an avid coffee drinker hehe)

Don't even bother the camera. :P
Agak-agak ni boleh jadi model advert OTWC tak?
Hahahah~
Sakinah is very happy because it's her first time there :)
Ok, I look chubby because of the hijab.
Hahahaha~
"Nak makan kena buat muka gembira"
Muahahahahaa~
Anyway, this week we most had lunch at home. Breakfast we had Rezal's Nasi Goreng Belacan, which he forgot to take out the squids' eyes and guess what? The ink made the fried rice turned greyish. But hey, it was DELICIOUS. Except for the fact that he doesn't know that you have to slice everything finely (talking about huge chunks of garlic everywhere). Ok Abang, good try. But next time, please at least blend them all. Less hassle kan?

For lunch, I made Chicken Padprik, Kangkung Goreng Ikan Masin and omelette. Wah wahhhh...hearty meal at home while watching TV. Mana tak gemuk ni? Isk isk iskkkk. I even made fried noodle which according to my family, was superb. Hahahahha~ *riak*.

Sekian repekan minggu ini. Too busy sampai terrrr-abandon the blog. Until then :D

Tantrums and Overly Sensitive

It has been a hectic week and I did not get to fully spend my time with my husband. I easily cry these days. Not forgetting being grumpier too. Am I being sensitive that we have not been getting those signs yet? Perhaps, without realising that it affects my husband too. I'm grateful for having him being patient towards me. He even let me use his car so that I don't have to take the bus to work and walk half a kilometer upon reaching my office (the bus stops at the entrance of the complex).

I envy friends who bring their kids along to weddings, iftars, any occasion. That's why I kind of avoid going to weddings these days. I don't mind my friends, it's just the relatives. I might snap half way, which is a double NO-NO.

Cute babies, who doesn't love them? People have soft spots for babies. Although there are people who don't like babies, at least they don't totally HATE babies.

All work and no time to update my blog. Until then peeps.

Escapism

I can't hide my disappointment. Hence, I make myself busy with work. Keeping myself occupied is how I seek solace. I might get tired of waiting. I don't want to be weakened by uncertainties. But, being a mere human who flaws, I sometimes succumb to my situation. *Sigh*

Attention to All Drivers

Everyday I go to work and I can't help cursing people on the road all the way until I reach my office. How do people pass and get their licences if they're driving that way??? Kenapa lahhhh korang ni lulus test JPJ ha? Ni lesen terbang ke apa??? Aku paling hangin kalau:

  1. Not giving signal before turning left or right or even changing lanes. Damn you.
  2. Drive at 70km/h when you're in the fast lane. Double damn-yous. Forget those fancy stickers you have "You kiss. You pay". I'm totally going to make you kiss my as*, for free.
  3. Ignorantly did not switch on the headlights while it's raining or it's kind of dark (at dawn or dusk). If you think people can see you in that condition, screw you. Some of us will make sure your cars shall be dented, guilt-free. It's a karma thing you know.
  4. Wannabe's. Forget Waja-Evo-Wannabe's. When you can't afford one, just don't forge the look. It makes you look desperate. Dahla engine bunyi bising. Duhhhh. Ok this sounds personal but I don't care.
  5. Let your children roam in the car and sticking out their little hands, flailing in the wind. What kind of parents are you anyway??? Perhaps you should wish for limbless children for a brainless parent like you. Owh, bet you don't even know what 'wish' is.
  6. Having second thoughts after attempting to turn left/right. WTFart? Last minute pulak tu!
  7. Skipping the queue. And you deserve to die!
  8. Those who did not stop at the junction. Kalau nampak kereta macam ni, drive je laju-laju. Kalau accident, diorang yang salah. This scenario happens in my neighbourhood.
I think, stressed drivers are tend to get heart attack more, by 90%. If I die because someone's driving is like sh*t, I'll be back to haunt them. Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah. Miahahaha.

Strawberry Trifle Pudding

Woohooo~!!! This is the first I ever made Trifle Pudding but it came out nice! (except for the part that the jelly became kind of hard - blame the instructions!).

Ingredients :

1 pack of strawberry-flavoured powdered jelly (depends on how much you need)
1 loaf of Swiss-roll strawberry cake, slice them up around 1cm thick
1 can of lychee in syrup, shred the lychees into pieces
1 can of cocktail fruits
1 can of evaporated milk
1 tablespoon of sugar
4 tablespoons of custard powder

How-to's

First :
  1. Mix the two cans of fruits, together with the syrup.
  2. Arrange the sliced cake into the tray/dish, closely.
  3. Pour spoonfuls-by-spoonfuls of the fruit syrup onto the cake, to moisten them up and plus, making them more tasty too. :P
Second :
  1. Boil the evaporated milk on the stove, then add in the sugar and the custard powder. Constantly stirring until the mixture until thickened. Remove from the stove.
  2. Quickly before the custard cools off and hardens, pour the custard onto the arranged cake slices.
  3. 'Sprinkle' with the mixed fruits.
Third :
  1. Prepare the jelly as instructed (and please make sure that the jelly is thoroughly mixed and turned into clear mixture before removing from the stove).
  2. Based on my experience, usually the jelly will become more chewy than we expected (when cooking as per instructions). So, test them first.
  3. If it is proven it is chewy-er, fret not, while cooking the jelly, add some water.
  4. Pour them directly onto the sprinkled-with-fruits custard-and-cake combination. Let them cool off and keep refrigerated.
  5. Voilà!! Time to dig in and whet your appetite :D
p/s: You can substitute the jelly with traditional striped jelly too. Some told me that if you add in the rock sugar, the texture is smoother and soft too. Happy experimenting! ;)
