Alkisah semalam first day Amna at the nursery. Ibu macam tahan je tak nak call the nanny but then the father pulakkk call tanya Amna ok ke tak. What I worry most is actually whether she drinks the milk or jenis tahan je lapar sampai balik..
Masa nak hantar tu tanya cikgu (muda lagi dalam 19-21 kot) pernah handle EBM tak. Dia cakap boleh. So saya pun confident jelahhh kan sebab owner cakap ada warmer lagi. Fine. Pastu siap tinggalkan manual written in red ink so that nannies baca how to handle EBM. I texted the nanny around lunch hour asking about Amna and she said Amna drank just fine, siap cakap tak cukup. I sent 2oz x 4 bottles, by the time I called after lunch hour, only 1 bottle left. Nasib baik ada backup one 3oz frozen EBM and the other one 4oz, also frozen EBM. Meaning Amna needs 5 bottles per day. So I called her up...
Me : Amna minum tak? Susu cukup?
Nanny : Amna minum tapi tinggal satu bottle je lagi.
Me : Berapa bottle dia minum?
Nanny : 3. Tinggal 1 je lagi.
Me : Susu beku dalam plastik tu tak guna?
Nanny : Owh? Ingatkan apa tadi dalam plastik...
Me : Tu susu beku, nanti dah cair, masukkan dalam botol lepas tu panaskan macam biasa ye?.
Nanny : Ok kak.
After ending the conversation, I texted the nanny "Minah (bukan nama sebenar), make sure panaskan guna warmer or air suam, bukan air panas, takut susu rosak. If Amna tak habis lepas 1 jam, buang je susu yang dah panas tu. Thanks :)". Tapi hati tak tenang jugak sebab tak pasti how they thawed the frozen milk or who knows if they refrigerate back thawed milk into the freezer?
Harini hantar 3oz x 5 bottles plus 4oz frozen EBM.Dalam hati dah nekad nak buat illustrated manual how to handle EBM. Jap lagi melukis lagi hehehe... Will update with the sketch :P
